Lullabies of broken chains and
distant melodies
over a cracking loud speaker.
Frozen time creeps by ever slowly,
moving at the pace of a flower
with the first frost.
Shattering ice falls
unbroken.
Pavement slick with
falling moonbeams.
Scrapes on the face
of time show vividly against
the dew soaked ground.
Moving as one
they never make a sound.
Through fields and forests
they crawl. Feeding on the sorrow
of frozen time.
Broken chains and frigid
lullabies, melodies of long ago.
Sing with eerie elegance.
If you listen close you can hear
the beating slow, as silver stones
rain from the sky.
Burst wires scatter stars,
giving new meaning
to bitter lullabies of old.

Believe: Believe in all you love--
hear, the Prince of Peace is crying
--and know that it will win; of
everything that's fighting,
only peace can win over
all. Only peace is wanted by the unknown soldier.

It talked about a flower, too.
